Individual Therapy

I specialize in treatments for anxiety and stress management related to everyday life, changes or transitions, and exposure to trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy in my practice and draw upon other evidence-based treatments including mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Self-Compassion. I use a skills-based approach that equips individuals to develop and practice coping strategies to be used outside the office, in real life, when things become stressful or overwhelming.

When working with children and adolescents, I regularly involve parents and caregivers in therapy to provide parent support and discuss strategies to try at home. I value this work with parents so much, and have seen such success,  that I have begun to offer parent-only consultation for parents of anxious youth (please see Parent Consultation section for more information).

Individual therapy begins with an initial intake, where we meet for me to learn more about you or your child, assess mutual fit, and identify treatment goals. This 90-minute session is $250. Ongoing therapy sessions, which are 50-55 minutes, are $185. At this time, I am seeing children for individual therapy in-person only, in my Bexley, Ohio office. I see parents and adult clients for individual therapy and parent consultation both in-person and via Telehealth in PSYPACT states.
